A big thank you to my SP10. What a fun package she sent. It is always a pleasure to go to the post box and find a package waiting for me.

Coffee (from Montana), egg magnets, a chicken tape measure, Vanilla Coffee Puff’s and two skeins of Karabella Aurora 8 yarn in a very deep purple. I have plans to make a pair of Fetchings with this yarn.

You’ve been a wonderful pal, SP…we will need to keep in touch as our little chickens grow.

Some “Pillow Talk” is in order here. I finished this little 10 1/2 inch sq. pillow tonight, as it was finally cool enough in my loft where my craft room is set up. I made the inside pillow a bit poofy as the stuffing will flatten out soon enough.
I love to do felted wool applique/embroidery. This pillow is for a co-worker’s birthday. I decided to make two more of these for two more birthdays coming up in June. I liked the little yo-yo flowers. I found a pillow like this in one of my craft magazine, but I took the pattern insert out and can’t find it…so I had to free hand it all. Not to shabby.
Whew…it’s Friday. Yeah! I have three dvd’s to watch (last one for Monarch of the Glen and two for Ballykissangel) and a book on cd that I want to give a try…don’t know if I can actually listen to the whole book as I’m a visual girl…audio drives me nuts. Though I love music…I would say a majority of the time I drive in total silence…just my thoughts and me, cruising down the road.
Happy weekend to all.

OK…I don’t have a clue what you would call this…a door pillow? A door decoration? Hanging embroidery?
I made this today to send to my SP10. She has a thing for sheep as well. I had fun making it…may need to make one for myself.
Happy Easter!
