The kids, myself and DD#1 boyfriend are taking the train down to Portland on Wednesday. Just got the tickets. Rats, I should have purchased them yesterday to get my AAA discount…oh well, live and learn.
Our first destination is to go Froelick Gallery as my cousin, Matthew Dennison, is having another showing. He has had many over the years. I decided it was the right time, with Winter Break, to take the kids on a day trip. It’s been years since I’ve been on a train.
Of course, I printed a map of all the yarn shops, though I plan not to spend, I want to be able to say I know where they are. Powells Used Bookstore is another place we will stop. We have about five plus hours to bum around and then back to the station.
In the DVD Player: Northern Exposure, Season 1, Disk 1. This was my next pick after finishing the six seasons of Sex in the City.
