With a three-day weekend for myself and a four-day weekend for the girls, I putted around my craft loft and completed 18 embossed Thanksgiving cards with a stamp I purchased on our knitting retreat weekend. Many photos were taken before I figured out the proper setting for this Kodak camera DH purchased for me.
With the wind whipping about, the fire cozy and warm, I still decided to make a trip to town (12 miles to farthest store we visited). Game card for DD#2, JoAnn’s for these beautiful buttons. K and I looked at all the buttons, with my Sienna Cardigan in tow, not fully completed, but together enough to take along. I looked up and found recreated versions of period piece buttons. The one we found that worked the best were these, circa. 1920-1940. I had my Veteran’s Day 40% off coupon for at least one set. Worth the little bit extra in price. Will post pic of sweater once completed.
