After a practice top two nights ago, here is a much better attempt. I’ve read you should do a mock up in muslin…I just did it in a $1 a yard calico. Well, the mock up has come and gone and I’m ready to sew this little top up in the Japanese Linen Print next.

I love the button closure on this top…easy to do and I get to use up my antique buttons to boot.
It’s nice to sew up a little top to go with a sweater or shrug, don’t you think?
Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I’ve begun working with the Magic Loop booklet and needles that you sent me. Fantastic! I really like the technique and will be blogging about it within the next few days. Thanks so much!
I love the shirt that you made. You’re a very talented seamstress in addition to your other skills. Can you be cloned and if so, can I have one of the clones?
