Knitters of the world, any reviews on this book? I will most likely request it from the library. My reviews on the recent knitting books have been only 1 of about 5 have inspired me. I will say, I did purchase One Skein sight unseen, not my usual standard. Luckily, the majority of patterns in there are great.
My library if full of books…some that I just ask myself, “why, why, why”. I love Teva Durham, but Loop-D-Loop only produced one pattern for my 41 yo body to really think about wearing and that’s if I changed the gauge and made it a bit bigger. Not everyone is a 36″ bust or a 24″ waist. Some of us are mom’s of three, built like a mom of three…not too big, not to skinny.
Enough on that. I rose at 4:30 a.m. when DH drove off to work…got ready for work, fed the rabbit, chickens, checked on the greenhouse, unloaded the dishwasher and read the email. This is a normal morning for me…but usually starting at 5 am.
Tonight is a Knit Get Together at Cutter’s Point. Loaned coworker Debbie, my copy of Sally Melville’s Knitting Experience, Book 1, The Knit Stitch. She likes it…so, we will get her started on the scarf in there.
Stay cool.
I hope you get it, I checked my library and even the online catalog for PCL and no copy yet. I need to take a trip to the bookstore for a look through.
Hmmm. A knitting book I haven’t read/seen? the horror.
