Please, ignore the sheep pj’s. It’s 8pm, I’m dressed for slumberland and the Golden Globe Awards. (giggle)
It’s done. I love the feel of it, the cotton blend. It’s a bulky yarn, so I had to adapt the gauge I was knitting at to the pattern. I was knitting at about 3.5 sts/inch.
The one thing I changed was the neck. I did a rollneck instead of a hemmed one. I read all the postings on the Hourglass KAL blog and the majority was saying the neck was coming out too big.
This sweater is for relaxing weekends at home, hanging in the house or on the deck on a cool spring/summer night.

See that’s what I need to knit. I actually NEED just a really nice basic sweater like that one!
Well I think it goes wonderfully with sheepy pj’s
That is so beautiful! I love the color and it fits you nicely. Hope you wear it to school.
Beautiful job and color! Enjoy it, it really fits you well!
It’s come out really well. It fits you well, and I like the altered neck. In fact, that is one thing I’m not so happy about with my Hourglass Sweaters – the neck IS a bit too big so whatever you wear underneath shows…
That’s lovely! Perfect fit and a gorgeous color.
Looks great! Now I really want to start mine!
