Went through my “wip’s” and packed the Rabbit Tracks scarf and Branching Out Scarf in my basket to take to work. Completed three repeats this evening so far…will probably get two more in before I head to bed.
Wow…so mindless now after knitting up the Flower Basket Shawl this summer.
I would [...]

The color is not accurate with the flash used…it’s a darker tweedy green.
It’s for “me”. I made it a bit bigger as I like a bit of room, not to tight across the chest…let’s not display larger top and chubby body to the world. A little imagination is good for the [...]

Just about done on the Simple Pie Vest..I need to complete the left front side and I can seam it together. Yeah. What then? I should dig into my “wip’s” and get something else done…like the Branching Out Scarf. Duh.
What to take with me to Knitting retreat. 2 [...]

It looks like the poll for the Evelyn Clark KAL is Leaf Lace Shawl. Uh-hum…Suzanne…interested in joining. (giggle). Now I need to hit Fibers Etc. tomorrow when I go into Tacoma with Alex and pick this pattern up. Of course, I have several others of her designs, but not this one. [...]

Yep…this is the most current book I have fallen in love with…beautiful, timeless pieces. I have borrowed several new books that just came in to the library (first to get my knitting hands on them) and found nothing but dissapointment to be had. I thought for sure the Quick Knits from Brown Sheep [...]
Got Mice?

A gift from Mr. Graciano (but his Mom made them). Brought my mice slippers home with the pattern and what happens? My darling daughter, Alex, decides she should have them…they fit her. Well, tough too-too’s, they have stretch so they fit me too. After about 10 minutes of wrestling each other [...]
Simple Pie Vest

Two-thirds done with the back…I am such a dreamer thinking I would have this done by this weekend. Answer to Suzanne’s question: not for hubby, for me. It will be a looser fitting vest and I may steek the front to put in a button band if I don’t like how it [...]
My Friday Night…

Close enough to knitting…scrapbooking my knitting pictures. A wonderful six hours of scrapping up in the loft, watching two movies with DH, with my view through the log railing. Watched “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead” (english get-back-at-them movie) and Crash. Crash was good, the title totally makes sense now. Intense and [...]

It is good to be a woman:
1. We got off the Titanic first. 2. We can scare male bosses with the mysterious gynecological disorder excuses. 3. Taxis stop for us. 4. We don’t look like a frog in a blender when dancing. 5. No fashion faux pas we make, could ever rival the Speedo. [...]
Simple Pie Vest in progress….

I started the Simple Pie Vest from Peace FleeceSunday evening. I’m at 15 inches on the back, telling myself I will get this vest done (in the Hemlock Green worsted weight wool from Peace Fleece) this weekend. Ha. Who am I kidding. Then again, Alex has a soccer game that may give me [...]
